We provide low-cost quality accommodation for individual travellers, families and groups, as well as sports teams. Our hostel is part of the Eastern Finland Sports Institute, which is also an ideal location for a sports training camp.

The hostel is situated in the town centre. The tall spires of the adjacent beautiful church act as a visible landmark you can follow from all directions of approach. The hostel is conveniently situated near the market place, university, cross country and other sports facilities, and the biggest timber-built sports arena in Finland, the Joensuu Arena.

The accommodation includes well-equipped one and two bedroom apartments with a kitchen as well as three bedroom units in the summer. There are two beds per bedroom as standar. All apartments have a private WC, bathroom, and a balcony. The bedrooms have satellite TV.

Restaurant Sport on the first floor of the main building serves sumptuous buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners for visitors.

The hostel is non-smoking.

Prices start from € 35,00/person/in two-bed bedrooms. The prices include a buffet breakfast, bed linen, bath towel and free parking.

Our special expertise also includes organisation of education programmes, sports training camps, personnel recreation , sports activities for groups, guided fitness training, and seminars.
